Riff Rooftop Bar
Jazz bar on the rooftop of "The Hotel"
4 week project
Design of a jazz bar and a mezzanine.
When creating this project, I researched the different elements that created Jazz music.
The riff, by definition, is a short repeated melody present in jazz music.
The idea of a melody played in a loop made me think of a literal loop, more precisely the Möbius strip.
It was by inspiring myself of the Mobius strip that I created my architectural envelope. I then adapted it to the view and the orientation of the sun to create a warm jazz bar atmosphere.
